Alexander Riedel. Currently serving as CIO and co-founder of Stableworks,

Alexander has over 17 years of experience in the CG industry and 10 in software development. Being a technical dude who loves solving complex problems, he's currently developing a standard to bring more photorealism into CG. His talk will be about the issues the CG industry has with eyeballing settings in 3D while still aiming for photorealism, and how to tackle that problem. "I will show what difference it makes to use scanned real world values and simulated real world dependencies instead of eyballing settings, and how this could be beneficial to just about everyone, thus creating a new standard for achieving photorealism in a quick and easy way"
