Pierre Yves Donzallaz is a Senior Technical Art Manager at Unity.

He's an experienced technical artist with over a decade of AAA experience in the field of real-time rendering. He manages several teams of Technical Artists whose mission is to improve artists’ efficiency, develop new features alongside engineers and designers, and educate Unity users globally. He holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland. He worked on award-winning games and large AAA productions including the Crysis series, Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2.

In his talk "How to Light an Environment with Unity" he'll demonstrate how to light an environment from scratch using the famous Sponza Atrium. He will cover various lighting features and systems, such as the GPU Lightmapper, the new Probe Volume system, Scene Space effects (SSAO, SSGI, SSR), Ray Tracing effects and even Path Tracing.
